WHAT CAUSES THESE CONDITIONS?
Skin Tag Removal
Also known as acrochordon, these growths are commonly found on the neck, face, armpit and groin and are usually smaller than a single grain of rice. It is completely harmless, but some may find it unsightly and choose to have it removed.
Moles Removal
Moles are brown or black skin growths which can appear on any part of your body. They tend to develop or form during the first 30 years of a person’s life and are extremely common. When you get older, these moles may become raised, change appearance or even grow hairs.
Milia Removal
These are small, raised bumps on the skin and are usually found on the chest or face, with newborns commonly suffering from this. However, anyone of any age may develop milia. These might clear up naturally, but persistent cases might need treatment.
Xanthelasma Removal
This is a form of xanthoma, which is a fat deposit under skin that tends to appear yellowish in colour; it is commonly located on or near your eyelids. Xanthelasmas is made up of xanthoma cells in a foamy formation, with intracellular deposits of fat usually appearing on the upper reticular dermis. In layman’s terms, xanthelasmas is a collection of a few types of fat gained from foods – mostly cholesterol and triglycerides.
Warts Removal
Warts are normally benign skin tumours that develop when your skin’s surface begins thickening in a rounded shape. Often rough on the surface, it is usually a different colour to the skin surrounding it. Warts begin to form due to skin being infected by viruses – it is common and the spreading of the virus depends on several factors, like location of injury, strength of virus and the immune system of the individual.
These can usually be removed in a single session.
An initial consultation will be arranged by our doctors to decide if this form of treatment is suitable for your skin’s condition. The number of treatments might vary depending on your skin as well as the desired outcome.
